Phoenix Real Estate Inventory: December 18
Inventory continued to fall over the past week, though not as deeply as a year ago and not enough to break below the 39,000 level. As of this morning there are 39,271 single-family homes for sale in Maricopa County, down about 400 from one week ago.
There also was a slight increase in sales for the preceding 30 days when compared to a week ago - 2,408 vs. 2,361. The net result is an absorption rate slightly lower at just below a 17-month supply of homes.
