Phoenix Retirement Real Estate

Jonathan Dalton, Phoenix Real Estate AgentSun City. Sun City West. Sun City Grand. Sun City Festival.

Name any of these locales and most will know immediately that these are active adult (retirement, if you must) communities in the Northwest Valley.

Corte Bella. Sun Village. Westbrook Village. Ventana Lakes. Happy Trails.

An online approach to working in these communities can’t possibly work. Or can it? The dozens of visitors to WestbrookVillageRealEstate.com tell me it can.

Pebblecreek. Sun Lakes. Leisure World. Alta Mesa. Sundance.

What if there were a website where most if not all of the information prospective residents might need could be found. What if there were specific real estate searches for each of the communities, or at least searches grouped logically together.

And what if there were a group of agents working together, all experts in their nearest active adult community, to provide the hands-on guidance after the initial online search has begun.

What I think you would have is a website like PhoenixRetirementRealEstate.com.

The domain is parked pending site completion. Stay tuned.

Sparky is Entering the Stadium

Jonathan Dalton, Phoenix Real Estate AgentAt 7:05 p.m. tonight, the Arizona State Sun Devils open their 95th season of football when they play host to the San Jose Spartans. For the ninth straight year, you’ll be able to find me in Section 22, Row 32 - I’ll be the one in the gold shirt.

(Feel free to bring me some bottled water - it’s expected to be around 100 degrees at kickoff.)

Tonight is Dennis Erickson’s debut. I’m not sure what I’ll do without Dirk Koetter to scream at. At least I know my dad’s heart will be safe ahead of Tuesday’s procedure. Dirk just might have killed him.

Arizona State football is a tradition in my family - my parents have held the tickets next to mine for about 15 years - as it is for many others. Opening night is almost like the first day of school as the half hour before kickoff is spent catching up on developments over the last nine months since we’ve seen each other.

The “A” on “A” Mountain overlooking the stadium was disturbingly white on Thursday. Hopefully it will be gold in time for kickoff this evening.

At approximately 6:52 tonight, some 13 minutes before kickoff, we’ll all hear this.

And a few minutes later … we’ll be thunderstruck.

Tickets still are available at the box office.
