ASU vs. UT: Godzillatron Has a New Groove
Any new readers to the blog are going to wonder why so much time has been spent on Arizona State football of late. The simple answer is because it’s local news and writing real estate all day makes Tobey a dull dog.
Arizona State, co-champions of the Pacific-10 Conference, will be playing in the Holiday Bowl in San Diego on December 27. Ticket office willing, I’ll be there as I was back in 2002 when the Sun Devils played K-State. The Holiday Bowl’s a pretty good party (though a well-deserved BCS bid would have been even better.)
It seems to best the Holiday Bowl could find as an opponent was the fourth-best team from the Big 12 Conference, the University of Texas. We’ll have to make due.
Bets already have been made and today UT’s Godzillatron has a new message for followers of the cult known as Longhorn football:
