Phoenix Real Estate Inventory Update: November 27
Posted on November 27th, 2007 by Jonathan Dalton
By request, I’ll be posting the data in table form a little later … have to meet with a seller in 30 minutes so time’s a little short.
Inventory fell by about 300 homes from last week. Sales also took a dip over the preceding 30 days, falling to about 2,100 sales of single-family detached homes here in Maricopa County.
Buyers remain of two minds when it comes to the Phoenix real estate market. Some are seeing opportunity and are taking the plunge with plans to hold the properties for some time. Others are waiting for another 30% to fall off the current levels.
The 30% may be extreme but a continuation of the drop, at least through the holiday season, may not be surprising. And that’s especially when you consider virtually no one is paying full price for a property, driving values down further.
As always, click on a marker to see the particulars for a given city or town in Maricopa County (Pinal County, for those who are looking at Queen Creek and Maricopa.) Or you can wait about two hours and I’ll have the table posted.
Also as always, all data is provided by the Arizona Regional MLS and is deemed reliable but not guaranteed.
