Bad MLS Remarks of the Day: August 7
Posted on August 7th, 2007 by Jonathan Dalton
It never was my intent to begin a Bad MLS Remarks of the Day segment for this blog. And, to be honest, I still won’t commit to the concept. I’ll probably even repeat that as I get down on my knees and thank the heavens for the simplest daily blog post in history.
This afternoon I wrote one post borne of shock. Within a few hours, I already was having comments sent my way from other Multiple Listing Systems. Today’s beauty comes from Lenny Gurvich in Tampa, home of my beloved Buccaneers.
“Some work needed due to break in. House has many new features. Completely remodeled in 2006, needs a little more TLC.”
Apparently an alarm system was not one of the new features. I’m no expert on disclosure laws in Florida, but man …
Have you seen something that makes you go “hmmmm?” on a real estate listing, hopefully not what of mine? Send them on through … even though I refuse to commit to this.

Yeah, for some reason I just don’t think I would have included that tidbit. Disclosure is one thing, but in the public remarks? Why I do I think that may limit interest?
