This one’s for my mom, who would play this record (yes, kids, actual vinyl) when I was a kid growing up. I hadn’t heard it in many, many years until I bought a Jimmy Buffett album and a cover of the song was included.

 Suddenly I was back on Canteloupe Avenue in Panorama City … I’ll try to spare you the rest of the music since it was an odd collection of Neil Diamond (again from my mom) and Tex Ritter (my dad’s influence.)

And with that, I’m off to the East Valley to hear from our esteemed real estate commish. One offer’s already submitted today and previewing three more houses in the far reaches of Mesa for another client.
