The New And Improved Agent Genius
Posted on January 28th, 2008 by Jonathan Dalton
Oh, what NAR unintentionally has wrought.
Once upon a time there was an Austin-based real estate blog named Realtor Genius. NAR’s trademark police came in and issues a cease and desist and the name changed to Agent Genius.
Shortly thereafter, a handful of prominent real estate bloggers were invited to join the AG ranks. After whining that I hadn’t been included in the initial draft, I was given the keys to the club.
Baby, have you ever wondered
Wondered whatever became of me
I’m writing on a blog in Austin, Texas
Austin Texas, home of the AG
I’m writing on Agent Genius in Austin, Texas
A couple of short months later and Agent Genius is 19 writers strong, including some of the best the real estate blogosphere has to offer. I mean, they really let me write on the same blog as the Queen of All Real Estate Blogging, Teresa Boardman.
Last night AG was pimped big-time, rebranded to reflect what is has become: a national real estate magazine.
Shortly into the growth phase of Agent Genius I went through a bit of malaise, trying to figure out why I was even on a group blog. It took a little while to realize anything that truly adds to the conversation fed through the blogs is a very good thing.
See you there. And here.

Nice. Very nice.
Dalton, you not only have an amazing background in writing, you have a LOT of valuable insight into national real estate and the direction of technology. AG is lucky to have you!
Honestly I am more of a princess . . LOL . . love the you posts on AG and here too.
Glad to be there, Lani.
And after you visited, I’ll never wash this post again Teresa.
